These hand made gems were made for approximately three years 1900-1903. They were made of many hides including deer, cow, pig and buffalo. This is the reason the thickness varies. Many leather postcards weren’t used or mailed. They come in many topics, town views, holiday’s, “thinking of you”, and “write soon”. It’s always a special treat to find a leather when you’re out hunting.
